Key Responsibilities
- Drive machine reconditioning, refurbishment and upgradation projects to extend equipment life and improve performance.
- Drive projects involving robotics, material handling, poka-yoke, vision systems, sensors, interlocks and digital monitoring.
- Ensure projects are completed within defined cost, quality, safety and timeline requirements.
- Drive standardization and replication of successful automation and machine reengineering solutions across plants/processes.
Competencies / Experience
- 10–20 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, machine automation, machine maintenance, machine building
- Solid hands-on experience in machine reconditioning, retrofitting and upgradation
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD/servo drives, sensors
- Knowledge of robotics, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, vision systems will be added advantage
