Job Description Hiring: Subject Matter Expert – Lead Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist (Contractual) N Project: TN RIGHTS Project (World Bank Supported) N Department: Commissionerate for Welfare of Differently Abled, Govt. of Tamil Nadu N Location: Tamil Nadu (multi-district travel) N Duration: Minimum 2 Years (extendable based on performance) N Salary: Up to ₹1,25,000/month + TA/DA as per norms N n Key Responsibilities: Nn Develop audiology& speech-language pathology training modules, manuals, videos, case studies, and digital tools. N Conduct Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and design evidence-based communication rehabilitation modules. N Field test modules, ensure quality standards, and validate content with experts. N Identify, train, and mentor master trainers (ToT) across Tamil Nadu. N Conduct trainings for therapists, home care providers, and families. N Provide technical guidance, mentoring, monitoring, and quality assurance support.



N Document best practices, reports, and knowledge transfer packages. Nn n Essential Qualifications: Nn Master’s Degree in Audiology / Speech-Language Pathology (UGC recognized). N Valid RCI registration. N Minimum 8 years clinical experience in hearing & communication disorders. N Experience in training,curriculum/module development, and capacity building. N Knowledge of hearing aids, AAC, speech therapy, and disability rehabilitation. Nn n Preferred: Nn PhD / 12+ years experience. N Government or development sector project experience. N Publications, international certifications, Tamil language knowledge preferred.
