Description

We are seeking an experienced Transformer Design Manager (Electrical) to lead our transformer design team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in transformer design and development.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of electrical transformers from concept through to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers in the design process.
- Analyze and validate transformer designs through simulations and testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in transformer design.




- Prepare and present design documentation and specifications for internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10-20 years of experience in transformer design and development.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and transformer operation.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools and electromagnetic simulation software.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to lead a team.
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
