We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead for Functional and Automation Testing with a robust foundation in Agile processes and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in functional testing, a minimum of 4+ years of experience in automation using Java/C#/JavaScript with Selenium, and the ability to manage a team. The candidate should also demonstrate exceptional communication and analytical skills, as well as a proactive attitude toward learning and growth. Knowledge of the banking domain is a plus.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of 4-6 testers, ensuring the effective delivery of functional and automated testing for projects.
- Oversee and contribute to the execution of functional testing activities, ensuring thorough test coverage and high-quality outcomes.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java/C#/JavaScript and Selenium.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment to ensure seamless integration of testing processes and timely delivery.
- Review and analyze test results, ensuring that issues are documented and tracked, and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and actively contribute to troubleshooting and debugging of test automation failures.
- Ensure all testing processes adhere to best practices and are executed with accuracy and efficiency.




- Proactively identify areas of improvement in testing processes and suggest enhancements.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals, deliverables, and timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Total Experience: Minimum 8 years in software testing, with at least 4 years in a lead role.
- Functional Testing: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in functional testing, with a deep understanding of testing methodologies and Agile processes.
- Automation Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Java/C#/JavaScript and Selenium (less than 4 years also acceptable).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Analytical Skills: Strong logical and analytical skills for problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Team Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading a team of 4-6 testers, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely delivery.
- Proactive Learning: Must demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to stay updated with new testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.

Preferred Skills:

- Banking Domain Knowledge: Experience with banking-related applications or projects is a strong advantage.
- Project Experience: Experience with recent or older projects, particularly within the banking or financial sector, will be highly regarded.
