Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

1. Working Capital Management

- Driving Working capital by improving Vendor Payables.

- Negotiating with the Suppliers and Contractors for better payment terms without affecting the cost.

- Encouraging suppliers to go for Cash discounting/ Vendor Finance scheme(VFS) for immediate payment

2. Procurement Strategy

- Revenue - On time procurement of material as per the procurement plan.

-Keeping track of the status of the order as per flow sheet and release orders based on the project team's requirements

- Actual project margin against budget.

- Surpass the target margin increase of the tendered budget by negotiating with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), dealers, and local vendors

- Preparing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for items with margin lesser than the budgeted margin for future reference

- Keeping track of the updated budget sheet.

- Updating with every order's actual price and Engg.



quantities.

- Keeping track of negative items separately

3. Supply Chain Management

- Keeping a track/review weekly with Procurement/Project team on the status of the order.

- Releasing orders as per the project team-s requirements and update the flow sheet weekly

- Identifying and empanelling current vendors/labour contractors.

- Studying their past projects, identify strengths/weaknesses, and maintain an updated vendor database zone-wise

- Rating Contract/Rate Card process implementation with selected suppliers and labour contractors for commonly used items

4. Vendor & Supplier Management

-Negotiating directly with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), dealers, and local vendors from the approved list in the procurement plan to get competitive rates

- Preparing and maintaining International Organization for Standardization (ISO)compliant documents and ensure 100% compliance

- Willingness to travel to project zones to meet and manage vendors/suppliers
