Job Description:

The incumbent is responsible for the following:

1. Brand leadership through speed in NPI (New Product Introduction).

- Leading CFT (Cross Function Team) team comprising Design, Marketing, Service, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering functions for the development of B2C (Sofa, Dining, & Mattress) & B2B (Seating) products.

- Ensuring timely product launch.

- Responsible for Pre-pilot and Pilot development at locations as per CCPM (Critical Chain Project management) plan.

- Ensuring completion of product handover to MFG (Manufacturing)/ SST (Strategic Sourcing Team) team before launch.

2. Brand leadership through launch of defect-free product

- Ensuring technical issue resolution at all stages of recent product development.

- Ensuring process and capacity mapping for all NPI.

- Ensuring tooling and process development in coordination with the design team.





- Ensuring compliance to statutory requirements.

- Ensuring Internal Customer Satisfaction.

3. Cost management

- Control product cost as per Marketing Plan for all products.

- Control investment within budget for new products in business.

- Ensuring PR (Purchase Requisition) to purchase team for procurement of all requisite material/component buys.

4. Operational efficiency

- Implementing TOC (Theory of Constraints) in new product development.

- Ensuring vendor evaluation.

- Sub-contracting activities related to new product development for products as per requirement.

5. Capacity and competency building for Interio

- Ensuring process and capacity mapping for all NPI.

6. Organizational Imperatives

- Adhering to safety protocols, IMS (Integrated Management System), compliance, and organizational initiatives such as Kaizen, Business Excellence, etc.

- Ensuring Internal Customer Satisfaction (Implicit link to people development within internal teams).

- Ensuring compliance to statutory requirements.
