Post: Operation Manager (Chennai)

Industry: Leading Parcel Service / Logistics

Location: Chennai

Experience: Minimum 5 years in Parcel Service -Operations in leading parcel service companies preferred.

/n

Key Responsibilities:

/n

1. Operations Management

/n

- Oversee daily operational locations in Chennai.

/n

- Ensure efficient parcel movement, timely dispatch, delivery, and route optimization.

/n

- Establish and monitor SOPs to maintain service quality, TAT, and customer satisfaction.

/n

- Coordinate with hubs, branch offices, franchise agents, and ground staff.

/n

1. Franchise Network Management

/n

- Manage, support, and monitor franchise partners.

/n

- Ensure franchise adherence to operational guidelines and business performance targets.

/n

- Conduct regular meetings, audits, and service quality checks.

/n

- Support franchisee onboarding, training, and performance improvement.

/n

1. Team Handling & Staff Management

/n

- Plan workforce allocation, productivity improvement, and performance monitoring.

/n

- Provide training, motivation, and guidance to ensure operational excellence.

/n

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

/n

- Identify new business opportunities,



partner development, and volume growth.

/n

- Work closely with senior management to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.

/n

- Implement strategies to improve market share and customer base.

/n

1. Travel & Field Operations

/n

- Conduct field audits, client visits, and franchise reviews.

/n

1. MIS, Reporting & Compliance

/n

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS related to operations, service levels, performance metrics, and revenue.

/n

Key Skills Required:

/n

- Robust leadership and people management skills

/n

- Hands-on experience in logistics/courier/parcel operations

/n

- Excellent communication and franchise management abilities

/n

- Ability to work under pressure and handle large teams

/n

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

/n

- Target-driven with strong business acumen

/n

Qualifications:

/n

- Any Graduate (MBA preferred)

/n

- Minimum 5 years of experience in parcel operations required.

/n

Salary:

/n

Maximum gross up to 7 LPA
