Job Profile – Dance Teacher | IB School (PYP)

- Position: Dance Teacher
- Location: Worli, South Mumbai

Experience: Relevant experience in teaching Dance, preferably in an IB/International School

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging Dance lessons aligned with IB curriculum and learner-centred approaches.
- Teach various dance forms, techniques, choreography, movement and performance skills.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, collaboration and cultural awareness among students.
- Prepare students for school performances, productions, showcases and events.
- Assess and document student progress using appropriate IB assessment practices.
- Integrate dance with interdisciplinary learning and the IB Learner Profile.
- Maintain a secure,



inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and participate in school activities, exhibitions and performances.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Degree/Diploma in Dance, Performing Arts or a relevant discipline.
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques and choreography.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- IB/International School experience preferred; IB training/certification is an advantage.
- Candidate must be flexible to teach across the levels as and when required

Others - Full Time Role, 08 Hrs a day, 7.30 onwards, All days
