JOB DESCRIPTION – MAINTENANCE INCHARGE (PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDING)

Job Summary

Toolcom Innovation Solution Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced Maintenance Incharge to lead the maintenance function of the Plastic Injection Moulding Division. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of injection moulding machines, moulds, utility systems, and auxiliary equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Maintenance

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for Plastic Injection Moulding machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, servo, and PLC-related faults.
- Maintain and service machines from manufacturers such as Haitian, Toshiba, JSW, Yizumi, Milacron, Engel, or equivalent brands.
- Monitor machine performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Participate in installation, commissioning, relocation, and validation of recent machinery.

Mould & Process Support

- Coordinate with the Tool Room for mould trials, mould installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure proper functioning of mould clamping, hot runner systems, ejector mechanisms, cooling circuits, and hydraulic core-pulling systems.
- Support production during new product development, mould trials, and process optimization.

Utility Equipment Maintenance

Maintain and monitor:

- Air Compressors
- Chillers
- Cooling Towers
- Hopper Dryers
- Auto Loaders
- Mould Temperature Controllers (MTC)
- Vacuum Loaders
- Material Conveying Systems
- DG Sets
- Electrical Panels & Distribution Systems
- Water Pumps and Cooling Systems

Preventive Maintenance

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.




- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain calibration schedules and maintenance records.

Team Management

- Supervise maintenance technicians and electricians.
- Allocate daily work and monitor completion.
- Train maintenance staff and machine operators on machine care, lubrication, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, and Stores departments.

Spare Parts Management

- Maintain minimum stock levels for critical spare parts.
- Coordinate procurement and vendor follow-up.
- Control maintenance costs through effective planning and inventory management.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with electrical and industrial safety standards.
- Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance.
- Support TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and ISO 9001:2015 initiatives.
- Ensure statutory compliance for plant maintenance activities.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

Experience

- 7–12 years of maintenance experience in a Plastic Injection Moulding manufacturing industry..
