About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at our Delhi office. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, TDS filing, and general financial management. This is a full-time, in-office position for candidates who thrive in a structured environment and are well-versed with Indian taxation and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records and general ledger
- Handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

GST Compliance

- Filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase registers
- Ensure timely payment of GST liabilities
- Handling GST audits, notices, and departmental correspondence

TDS Management

- Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable provisions
- Filing of quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.)
- Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A)
- Ensure compliance with all TDS provisions under the Income Tax Act





Other Compliance & Reporting

- Support statutory and internal audits
- Prepare MIS reports and assist management in budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate with external CA/consultant for year-end filing and compliance
- Stay up to date with amendments in taxation and accounting laws

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com/M.Com)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel and Emailing proficiency
- Robust understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian Accounting Standards
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in dealing with GST portal and TRACES
- Knowledge of PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance
- Experience in a similar role in a mid-sized company preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
