Position: IPR Litigator / Intellectual Property Rights Lawyer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated IPR Litigator to handle intellectual property litigation and dispute-resolution matters. The candidate will be responsible for managing trademark, copyright, patent, design, passing-off, infringement and other IP-related disputes, including legal research, drafting, court appearances and client management.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and independently manage IPR litigation matters before High Courts, Commercial Courts, District Courts and other appropriate forums.
- Draft and review plaints, written statements, petitions, applications, affidavits, rejoinders, appeals and other legal pleadings.
- Handle applications relating to interim injunctions, stay orders, contempt and other urgent reliefs.
- Conduct detailed legal research on trademark, copyright, patent, design and other intellectual property laws.
- Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.
- Prepare case briefs, chronologies, legal opinions and arguments.
- Coordinate with clients, senior counsel, advocates, experts and other stakeholders.
- Assist with evidence collection, document review, discovery and preparation for hearings and trials.
- Attend court hearings and effectively present matters before the appropriate judicial forums.
- Handle infringement, passing-off, opposition, cancellation/rectification and enforcement proceedings.




- Negotiate settlements and assist in drafting settlement agreements, undertakings and related documentation.
- Monitor case deadlines, hearings, filings and procedural requirements.
- Keep clients updated regarding case progress, risks, strategy and potential outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with the relevant Bar Council.
- 3-5 years of experience in IPR litigation, preferably with a law firm or litigation practice.
- Strong knowledge of Indian intellectual property laws and litigation procedures.
- Prior experience handling matters involving trademarks, copyrights, patents and/or designs is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
