Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Legal Officer to manage the company's legal matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The candidate will be responsible for contract drafting and review, legal documentation, risk assessment, dispute management, and providing legal advice to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, vendor contracts, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide practical solutions to minimize business exposure.
- Handle legal disputes and coordinate with external advocates and law firms for litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, case laws, statutes, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide legal opinions and advice on corporate, commercial, construction, and labour-related matters.
- Maintain and update legal records, agreements, licenses, registrations, and other documentation.
- Ensure timely filing and tracking of legal documents and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in drafting company policies, SOPs, agreements, and internal legal guidelines.
- Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies whenever required.
- Monitor changes in applicable laws and advise management regarding their impact on business operations.




- Assist in legal due diligence for projects, partnerships, contracts, and other business transactions.
- Maintain proper records of legal notices, cases, contracts, and other legal matters.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation.
- Good understanding of corporate, commercial, construction, and labour laws.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify and assess legal risks.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
- Ability to communicate legal matters effectively to non-legal teams.

Qualification & Experience

- LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) is mandatory.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a legal role.
- Experience in the construction, infrastructure, real estate, or related industry will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in handling construction-related contracts and agreements.
- Knowledge of dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with external legal counsels, government authorities, and internal departments.
- Strong attention to detail and professional integrity.
