Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on, strategic, and deeply technical Technical QA Manager with 13+ years of experience to lead, scale, and technically guide the Quality Engineering organization.

The role involves overseeing testing operations across Cloud Platform QA, Mobile QA (iOS/Android), and Product Support QA. The candidate will provide technical leadership across microservices architectures, AWS/GCP cloud platforms, and modern automation frameworks across Cloud, Mobile, and Web.

Key Responsibilities

- Guide and mentor QA Leads, SDETs, and engineers across Cloud, Mobile, and Web domains.

- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and automation framework strategy.

- Drive engineering culture, accountability, skill development, and performance.

- Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and release bandwidth.

- Architect end-to-end testing strategies for microservices, cloud APIs, distributed cloud components, and data streaming pipelines.

- Guide and standardize automation methodologies across Cloud/API, Mobile, and Web platforms.

- Drive Mobile automation using Appium and Web automation using Selenium/Playwright.

- Partner with Support and Escalation teams to validate customer-reported issues and perform technical root-cause analysis.

- Establish Jira workflows, QA Kanban boards, status reporting, and risk management practices.





- Establish and track quality metrics such as defect density, release velocity, escape rate, and Mean Time to Resolution.

- Lead post-incident reviews for production defects, microservice failures, and customer escalations.

- Act as the primary technical quality liaison between Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, Support, and Executive Leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 13+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and Systems Delivery.

- 5+ years of direct people management experience overseeing multiple QA teams or sub-departments.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure.

- Proven experience leading automation strategies across Cloud/API, Mobile, and Web platforms.

- Solid technical knowledge of Python, Pytest, Appium, Selenium/Playwright, Docker, Jenkinsfiles, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira workflow design, and release management.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-team communication skills.

Good to Have

- Experience managing QA for IoT ecosystems.

- Knowledge of MQTT/HiveMQ or live data streaming platforms.

- Experience with AWS Kinesis/Azure Event Hubs.

- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor, Gemini, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot.

- Experience with performance engineering, Gatling, distributed load testing, Coralogix, or Grafana.
