NnRole Summary: NnResponsible for reviewing and processing merchant credit applications, assessing risk, and making underwriting recommendations in line with internal policies, sponsor bank guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Ensures timely decisions while safeguarding the company against credit and fraud risks. NnKeyResponsibilities: Nn Review and analyze merchant credit applications, financials, and transaction profiles. N Assess credit exposure and make underwriting recommendations as per company and sponsor bank policies. N Evaluate potential exposure, fraud exposure, and business viability before approval/decline decisions. N Coordinate withmerchants, sales teams,



and internal stakeholders to obtain required information. N Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and card network requirements. N Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all underwriting decisions. N Support timely adjudication of applications within defined SLAs. N Escalate complex/high-exposure cases to Senior Underwriters or Management. N Contribute to process improvements to strengthen exposure controls and reduce losses. NnnQualifications & Skills: Nn Bachelorsdegree (Finance, Commerce, Business, or related field). N 4-6 years of experience in credit underwriting, exposure assessment or financial analysis. N Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail. N Understanding of financial statements, credit exposure principles, and fraud indicators. N Knowledge of payment industry, merchant acquiring, or fintech operations is preferred. N Good communication and stakeholder management skills. N Ability to workin a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment. N Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure assessment tools. NnnPreferred Skills: Nn Experience working with sponsor bank guidelines and card network rules (Visa/Mastercard). N Exposure to merchant onboarding, KYC, and underwriting systems.
