Sales Representative – Biller Acquisition

About the Role

We is looking for a high-energy, target-driven Sales Representative to drive Biller Acquisition across relevant Bharat Connect categories. You will be responsible for identifying potential billers, generating leads, conducting outreach, managing follow-ups, and driving the complete onboarding process.

This is an execution-focused role for someone who is comfortable with outbound sales, relationship building, CRM management, and achieving measurable acquisition targets.

Key Responsibilities

Biller Acquisition & Sales

- Identify and acquire potential billers across categories such as:
- Broadband & Internet Service Providers
- Cable TV Operators
- Piped Gas Providers
- Loan Repayment Providers
- Subscription Businesses
- Insurance & Financial Services
- Educational Institutions
- Other eligible utility and biller categories
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Conduct daily outbound calls and regular follow-ups with decision-makers.
- Understand prospect requirements, billing models, customer base, and payment collection processes.
- Present Ziptap's value proposition and explain the onboarding process.
- Schedule product discussions, demos, and onboarding calls.
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to successful onboarding.

Biller Onboarding

- Collect and verify required onboarding information and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal operations, product, compliance, and partner teams.
- Track onboarding status and proactively resolve delays.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of the onboarding process.

CRM & Reporting

- Manage leads and the complete sales pipeline using Zoho CRM or similar CRM tools.
- Maintain daily call logs and follow-up schedules.
- Track leads, meetings, onboarding status,



conversions, and pipeline performance.
- Use Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and pipeline management.

Requirements

Experience

- 1–2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, Merchant/Biller Acquisition, Payments, Fintech, BBPS/Bharat Connect, Banking, or related industries.
- Experience in merchant acquisition, partner acquisition, channel sales, or business onboarding is preferred.
- Experience working with fintech, payment service providers, telecom, utilities, lending, subscriptions, or financial services will be an advantage.

Skills

- Strong communication and telephonic sales skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and consistent follow-ups.
- Ability to interact with business owners, founders, CXOs, and decision-makers.
- Experience with Zoho CRM or similar CRM platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and documentation tools.
- Strong understanding of the sales funnel and customer onboarding process.
- Excellent follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple prospects and onboarding processes simultaneously.
- Target-driven with a solid sense of ownership.

Key Performance Indicators

- Onboard 5–10 new billers per month.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Achieve monthly targets for leads, meetings, documentation completion, and successful onboarding.
- Conduct consistent daily outreach and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
