The Role:

Suffolk Global is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to help establish and scale people operations across multiple functions and business units in Bengaluru, India. As the primary HR partner for the India office, this individual will support the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee experience, HR operations, and ongoing people programs.

In the near term, the HR Business Partner will work closely with Suffolk's U.S. HR organization and external partners to implement HR policies, talent acquisition activities, employee programs, and operational processes. As Suffolk Global grows, this role will help shape the long-term HR strategy, identifying opportunities to build internal capabilities and transition key HR functions in-house.

Success in this role requires a collaborative, hands-on leader who is comfortable operating in a rapid-paced, growth-oriented environment and partnering across global teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to build the HR foundation for a rapidly expanding organization while growing into a broader HR leadership role as Suffolk Global scales.

Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Employee Experience:

- Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for the Suffolk Global India office.
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, orientation, employee records, benefits administration, and leave management.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, responding to HR inquiries and supporting a positive employee experience.
- Support performance management, employee development, talent review, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR data and documentation across HR systems.

HR Strategy & Business Partnership:

- Partner closely with U.S.-based HR Business Partners, business leaders, and external partners to execute HR programs and organizational initiatives.




- Support implementation of HR policies, processes, and best practices across the India organization.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, improve, and gradually transition HR capabilities in-house as Suffolk Global scales.
- Support organizational growth, workforce planning, and other strategic people initiatives.

Compliance & Governance:

- Help ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, payroll, and external partners on HR compliance and employee administration.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of sensitive employee information.

Office Operations & Workplace Experience:

- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a safe, productive, and engaging workplace.
- Coordinate with facilities, IT, security, and third-party vendors to support office operations.
- Manage workspace readiness, office access, visitor coordination, and administrative services.
- Plan and coordinate employee events, town halls, executive visits, and team activities that foster a strong office culture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, and talent acquisition.
- Working knowledge of Indian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
- Experience supporting a Global Capability Center (GCC), multinational organization, or high-growth company.
- Experience working with outsourced HR service providers or HR consulting partners.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms.
- Experience helping build or scale HR operations in a growing organization.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements across global teams.
