Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Export Head / International Business Development qualified with strong exposure to the Generic Pharmaceutical industry and proven experience in developing business across Africa and Middle East/GCC markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and drive international business development and export sales across Africa and Middle East markets.
- Identify and develop new distributors, wholesalers, pharmacy chains and retail pharmacy networks.
- Build long-term relationships with pharma distributors, importers and retail pharmacy groups.
- Drive market expansion, product launches, revenue growth and achievement of export targets.
- Manage key international accounts and negotiate commercial agreements with distributors.




- Conduct market analysis covering generic medicines, pricing, competition and market opportunities.
- Work closely with regulatory, supply chain and internal teams for smooth export operations.
- Travel internationally for customer meetings, distributor development, exhibitions and market expansion.

Candidate Requirements

- 10–20 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Export / International Business Development.
- Strong experience in Generic Pharma / Generic Medicines.
- Mandatory experience in Africa and/or Middle East/GCC pharmaceutical markets.
- Strong exposure to retail pharmacies, pharmacy chains, distributors, wholesalers or medicine outlets.
- Proven track record in international sales and business development.
- Strong distributor/customer network in international markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
