About the Role

The Architect will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects in residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate developments. The role includes concept development, statutory approvals, coordination with consultants, and ensuring design execution as per approved drawings and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Design & Planning

- Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design presentations.
- Prepare schematic designs, working drawings, and detailed drawings.
- Ensure optimum space utilization and compliance with local building norms.
- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, and Landscape consultants.

Approvals & Compliance

- Prepare and submit drawings for statutory approvals.
- Ensure compliance with local municipal regulations, fire norms, environmental clearances, and building codes.
- Liaise with government authorities for approvals and documentation.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors.
- Conduct site visits to ensure execution as per drawings.
- Resolve design-related site issues promptly.




- Review contractor shop drawings and material submittals.

Budget & Cost Awareness

- Work closely with QS/Billing team to optimize design within budget.
- Suggest value engineering options without compromising quality.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain drawing records and revision control.
- Prepare BOQ inputs related to architectural works.
- Submit periodic project status reports to management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
- Registration with Council of Architecture (mandatory in India).
- 5 - 10 years of experience in real estate projects (residential/commercial).

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools.
- Knowledge of local building bye-laws and development control regulations.
- Understanding of construction materials and methods.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in high-rise residential or township projects.
- Exposure to RERA compliance documentation.
- Experience working in a real estate developer company.
