Job requirements

We are looking for an experienced Commis 2 – Samosa Maker to join the kitchen team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing different varieties of samosas and other Indian snacks while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and produce different types of samosas according to standard recipes.

- Prepare samosa fillings, dough, wrappers, and other required ingredients.

- Ensure proper portioning, shaping, stuffing, sealing, and frying/baking of samosas.

- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, size, and presentation.

- Assist senior chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.

- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

- Store ingredients properly and monitor freshness and quality.

- Minimize food wastage and follow proper stock-handling procedures.





- Support the kitchen team during high-volume production periods.

- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Samosa Maker, Commis 2, Commis Chef, Indian Snack Maker, or similar role.

- Solid practical knowledge of samosa preparation and Indian snacks.

- Ability to prepare samosas in large quantities while maintaining consistent quality.

- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

- Good teamwork and communication skills.

- Physically fit and able to work for extended periods in a kitchen environment.

- Candidates with experience in Indian restaurants, catering, hotels, QSRs, or food production kitchens will be preferred.
