Job RoleWe are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharma Competent Person to supervise pharmaceutical wholesale operations and support compliance with applicable Drugs & Cosmetics laws, Drug Rules and requirements of the State Drug Licensing Authority.

The selected candidate will oversee pharmaceutical procurement, storage, inventory, documentation, sale/distribution and regulatory compliance.

- Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Competent Person for pharmaceutical wholesale operations, subject to eligibility verification and acceptance by the applicable Drug Licensing Authority.
- Support Wholesale Drug Licence application, renewal, maintenance and compliance activities.
- Supervise procurement, receipt, storage, sale and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure medicines are procured only from licensed and authorised suppliers.
- Verify purchase/sales invoices, batch numbers, expiry records and statutory documentation.
- Ensure medicines are stored under appropriate temperature and storage conditions.
- Monitor stock, batches, expiry dates, damaged products, returns and product recalls.
- Ensure proper segregation and documentation of expired,



damaged, recalled and returned medicines.
- Maintain required registers, records and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with Drug Inspectors and the State Drug Licensing Authority during inspections and compliance activities.
- Monitor day-to-day pharmaceutical operations and identify compliance gaps.
- Guide operational staff on proper handling, storage and documentation of medicines.
- Ensure pharmaceutical products are not procured, stored, sold or distributed in violation of applicable laws or licence conditions.
- Support management in establishing pharmaceutical compliance processes as the business expands.
- Eligibility & QualificationCandidates must meet the applicable eligibility criteria prescribed under the Drugs & Cosmetics Rules and requirements of the State Drug Licensing Authority.
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm with valid Pharmacy Council registration will be preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical wholesale, distribution, stockist operations or pharmacy business will be preferred.
- Other candidates meeting applicable Competent Person eligibility requirements may also be considered, wherever legally permitted.
- Preferred Candidate ProfileRegistered Pharmacist with valid Pharmacy Council registration.
- Experience with a licensed pharmaceutical wholesaler, distributor, stockist or pharmacy.




- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical wholesale operations and regulatory documentation.
- Understanding of batch management, expiry management, storage and purchase/sales documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with Drug Inspectors and regulatory authorities.
- Strong compliance, documentation and operational accuracy.
- Responsible, reliable and capable of taking ownership of compliance activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Educational qualification certificates
- Pharmacy Council registration certificate/registration number, where applicable
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience certificates
- Previous employment details
- Aadhaar Card and PAN Card
- Other licence, registration, declaration or documents required by the applicable Drug Licensing Authority
