- Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily and weekly production activities as per production targets.
- Study and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications before starting production.
- Coordinate with Design, QC, Purchase, Stores, Assembly and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure required raw materials, components and consumables are available for production.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, grinding, buffing and assembly activities.
- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings and customer specifications.
- Monitor manpower allocation and improve productivity.
- Follow up on production progress and ensure orders are completed within the planned timeline.
- Coordinate with QC for inspection, hydro testing and final quality checks.
- Identify production problems, delays and rework and take corrective action.
- Maintain daily production reports and update production status.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Support continuous improvement in production processes, quality and productivity.
