1. Restroom Fittings & Maintenance • Inspect and maintain faucets, taps, flush systems, urinals, wash basins, and shower fittings. • Replace damaged or leaking fittings. • Ensure proper sealing to prevent water leakage. • Test fittings for smooth operation after maintenance.
2. Preventive Maintenance • Conduct routine checks on restroom plumbing systems. • Identify early signs of leaks, corrosion, or blockages. • Apply preventive measures (sealants, filters, periodic flushing). • Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
3. Restroom Water Pipeline • Inspect pipelines for leaks, corrosion, or damage. • Repair or replace faulty sections. • Ensure proper water pressure and flow. • Test pipelines after repair for durability.
4. Restroom Blockage Removal • Identify and clear blockages in toilets, urinals, wash basins, and floor drains. • Use appropriate tools (rods, plungers, jetting machines). • Ensure smooth water flow after clearing. • Dispose of waste material safely.
General Responsibilities Site Preparation & Safety
• Barricade work areas and place warning signs.
• Use PPE (gloves, boots, masks, goggles).
• Ensure secure handling of tools and chemicals. Execution & Quality
• Perform plumbing tasks as per approved methods.
• Ensure fittings, pipelines, and drains are leak-free and functional.
• Maintain hygiene standards during and after work. Material & Equipment Handling
• Verify quality of plumbing materials before use.
• Store fittings and pipes properly to prevent damage.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with supervisors for daily work allocation.
• Report leaks, damages, or unusual findings immediately.
• Maintain records of repairs and preventive maintenance. Helpdesk Closure Points
• All plumbing tasks (restroom fittings, water pipeline repairs, blockage removal, preventive maintenance) must be raised in the helpdesk system with a clear description and unique ticket ID.
• The plumber team completes the assigned work as per scope and updates the helpdesk ticket with progress notes (e.g., “Pipeline leak repaired,” “Flush system replaced,” “Blockage cleared”).
• Supervisor inspects the completed work for leak-free operation, proper water flow, hygiene standards, and site cleanliness before approving closure.
• Once verified, the helpdesk ticket is closed with completion remarks, date/time of completion, and supervisor sign-off. Preventive maintenance activities should also be logged and closed for accountability.
