Looking for a Energetic and Hands-on IT Support SpecialistWe are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our educational institution. The candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support across the campus, including computer hardware, software, networking, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and other IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on and willing to perform field/onsite technical work, not limited to desk-based support.

- Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, projectors, and other peripherals.
- Install and configure Windows, software, drivers, and system updates.
- Support LAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
- Perform LAN/Ethernet cable installation, RJ45 crimping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and CCTV cabling.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining computer labs, classrooms, offices, and network infrastructure.
- Handle basic router, switch, and Wi-Fi access point configuration.
- Troubleshoot user login, account, printer, internet,



and connectivity issues.
- Perform basic computer hardware maintenance and replacement of components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, SMPS, etc.
- Maintain IT inventory, asset records, and technical documentation.
- Assist with data backup, system security, and basic IT security practices.
- Coordinate with external vendors when required.
- Carry out regular maintenance and ensure IT equipment across the campus is functioning properly.
- RequirementsDiploma / ITI / BCA / B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Tech. or equivalent qualification.
- Basic to good knowledge of computers, hardware, software, and networking.
- Practical knowledge of LAN/Ethernet cabling and RJ45 termination.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CCTV installation and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Ability to perform hands-on field work and onsite troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous IT support experience is an advantage.
