Video Editor Intern

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our team. You'll work closely with our content/marketing team to edit engaging videos for social media, YouTube, and other platforms. This is a excellent opportunity to build a strong portfolio while learning from experienced editors.

Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
- Add captions, transitions, sound effects, and background music
- Collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and brand voice
- Organize and manage video assets and project files
- Stay updated on video trends, formats, and editing styles
- Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Design, or related field (or equivalent self-taught experience)
- Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
- Basic understanding of color grading, pacing, and storytelling through video




- A portfolio or reel showcasing previous edits (personal or academic projects welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to Have

- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects)
- Familiarity with short-form content trends (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Basic knowledge of sound design
