A Lift Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of elevators and other vertical transportation systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Install current lift systems as per technical drawings and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing of lifts and elevators
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, cables, switches, and panels
- Conduct safety inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulations
- Attend breakdown calls and provide emergency repair support
- Maintain service reports, logs, and documentation of all work performed
- Ensure all work follows company safety policies and industry standards
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and clients
