Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Production Operator to support our food production and packing operations. The person will be responsible for packing chips/snack products accurately according to the required quantity, maintaining product quality and hygiene, checking packaging materials, and achieving daily production targets.

The role requires good attention to detail, discipline, cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Packing

Operate and assist with chips/snack packing activities as instructed by the Production Supervisor.

Pack products according to the specified quantity, weight, and pack size.

Ensure the correct number/weight of packets are packed in each carton, box, or batch.

Follow daily production and packing targets.

Check packets for proper sealing, correct labeling, and overall appearance.

Remove damaged, underweight, overfilled, or improperly sealed packets.

Arrange finished products properly for storage and dispatch.

Maintain accurate production and packing counts.

Quality Control

Follow company standards for product quality and packing.

Check product quantity/weight at regular intervals.

Ensure that the correct product and packaging material are being used.

Immediately report quality issues, damaged packaging, contamination, or machine problems to the supervisor.

Follow batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and other product identification requirements.

Hygiene & Safety





Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.

Follow food-safety and workplace-safety procedures at all times.

Keep the production and packing area clean and organized.

Use gloves, hairnets, masks, uniforms, and other required protective equipment.

Handle food products and packaging materials carefully to prevent contamination.

Follow proper procedures for cleaning equipment and work areas.

Machine & Equipment

Operate packing machines and other production equipment after receiving proper training.

Monitor machines during operation and report unusual noise, faults, or stoppages.

Perform basic cleaning and routine checks as instructed.

Do not attempt major repairs without authorization from the maintenance team or supervisor.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily records of production and packing quantities.

Record rejected/damaged packets and production wastage.

Inform the supervisor about shortages of raw materials or packaging materials.

Support stock counting and material reconciliation when required.

Follow production schedules and instructions provided by the supervisor.

Daily Performance Expectations

Meet assigned daily production and packing targets.

Maintain accurate quantity/weight in every pack.

Minimize product and packaging wastage.

Maintain consistent packing quality.

Follow hygiene and safety standards without exception.

Maintain punctuality, discipline, and teamwork.





Required Qualifications

Minimum: PUC / 12th Standard

Preferred: Diploma or Graduation in any relevant field.

Candidates with relevant production, food-processing, or packing experience may also be considered.

Experience

0–2 years of experience in production, food processing, packing, FMCG, or manufacturing is preferred.

Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.

Basic understanding of counting, weighing, and measurements.

Ability to follow production instructions accurately.

Good attention to detail.

Basic record-keeping ability.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Good discipline and punctuality.
