Key Responsibilities:

- Work with the design engineering team developing hydraulic gear pump and valve products
- Undertake design work including 3D modelling of castings and machined parts, 2D drawings, bills of materials and material specifications and any related work
- Thorough Knowledge on GD&T.;
- Be willing to learn quickly and deliver on the assigned responsibilities.
- Support production teams in India with CFT discussions and as per design process flow.
- Maintain and demonstrate compliance with ISO 9001 and other proprietary and company standards.

Essential Profile/Skills:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject and minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience
- Demonstrable ability to use 3D software (Inventor/Solid Edge) to best advantage including MRP (SAP) systems.
- Preferably have experience working in hydraulic gear pumps, valves, or related products.
- Ability to understand the Form Fit and Function of the products for manufacture and assembly (DFM/DFA)

Desirable

- Additional related qualifications (e.g. engineering, product design, project management)
- Knowledge on Engineering change management
