Job Summary:

We are looking for a smart, creative, and well-presented Interior Designer with strong knowledge of interior design concepts, space planning, materials, finishes, and current market trends. The candidate should have excellent design sense, good communication skills, and the ability to convert client requirements into practical and visually appealing designs.

The candidate must have a ready portfolio of previous interior design work to present during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand client requirements, lifestyle and preferences.
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture layouts, working drawings, elevations, and ceiling plans.
- Create high-quality 3D designs and realistic renders.
- Select appropriate materials, colours, textures, furniture, lighting, and décor.
- Keep up-to-date with latest interior design trends, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and market developments.
- Prepare design presentations and mood boards for clients.
- Take accurate site measurements and develop designs according to site conditions.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, carpenters, electricians, and execution teams.
- Make design changes based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for execution.
- Visit project sites when required to ensure proper implementation of the approved design.
- Assist in material selection and provide design inputs during execution.

2D Designing & Technical Drawings – Mandatory

- AutoCAD – Strong knowledge of floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, working drawings, and detailing.
- Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets – Basic knowledge for BOQs,



material lists, and project-related documentation.

3D Designing & Rendering – Mandatory

Candidate should be proficient in at least one major 3D design software:

- SketchUp
- 3ds Max
- V-Ray / Corona Renderer
- Lumion
- Enscape
- D5 Render

Presentation & Graphic Design – Preferred

- Adobe Photoshop
- Canva
- PowerPoint / Google Slides

Skills & Qualities Required

- Strong creative and aesthetic sense.
- Good understanding of space planning and functionality.
- Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, colours, textures, and hardware.
- Robust awareness of latest interior design and décor trends.
- Smart, confident, professional, and presentable personality.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into designs.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good coordination and teamwork skills.
- Practical understanding of how designs are executed on site.

Portfolio – Candidates must have a ready portfolio to present during the interview.

The portfolio should preferably include:

- Residential interiors
- Commercial/office interiors
- 2D layouts and working drawings
- 3D designs and renders
- Before & after projects, if available
- Material and colour selections
- Completed/executed projects, if available

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 0–4 years of relevant interior design experience preferred.
- Freshers with exceptional design skills and a strong portfolio may also be considered.
