Job Description:
Topline Press makes cartons, leaflets and labels for pharma companies, and food packaging for F&B; companies, based in Chennai. Since our products go on medicines and food, every printed sheet and carton has to be checked carefully, there is no room for mistakes.
We are looking for a QC Checker to inspect printed sheets and cartons at different stages of production and separate out anything that doesn't meet quality standards. This is a hands-on floor job, checking real jobs every day under the guidance of the QC/QA Head.
Key Responsibilities:
Check printed sheets/cartons for shade mismatch,
print position, text mistakes, and barcode clarity
Set aside and mark any defective pieces found; never let doubtful pieces move to the next stage
Immediately inform the shift Supervisor/QC Head if a problem is found
Support sample-based (AQL) checks and final counting before packing, as guided by the QC Head
Keep the checking area clean and make sure jobs don't get mixed up with each other
Maintain daily checking count and rejection records as instructed
Skills Required:
Good attention to detail, able to spot small print defects
Basic English reading skills
Comfortable standing/sitting and checking material for long stretches
Willingness to learn quality checking standards used in pharma/food packaging
