- Key ResponsibilitiesDrawing & Plan Reading: Interpret mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, blueprints, and engineering schematics to understand job requirements and plan the fabrication sequence.
- Material Preparation: Cut, drill, bend, shape, and grind MS/SS materials using appropriate cutting and fabrication tools, including gas cutting, plasma cutting, grinders, and drilling machines.
- Fitting & Alignment: Measure and accurately position components using measuring tools, squares, clamps, and other fixtures. Perform tack welding to maintain proper dimensions and alignment.
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc/Stick (SMAW) welding as required for MS/SS fabrication, including flat, vertical, and overhead welding positions.
- Quality Inspection & Repair:



Inspect fabricated and welded components for dimensional accuracy, weld quality, cracks, porosity, and other defects. Grind, repair, and rework components as required.
- Machine & Tool Handling: Operate and maintain fabrication tools, welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, drills, and other workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Follow workplace safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, maintain tools and equipment in valuable condition, and keep the fabrication/work area clean and organized.
