Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Press Shop Supervisor to oversee our press shop operations. The ideal candidate will manage the entire production cycle from raw material planning to finished auto components while maximizing machine and manpower utilization. A strong focus on continuous improvement (Kaizen/Gemba) and waste elimination is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Production & Resource Planning: Plan and execute daily production schedules for high-volume sheet metal parts across 25 press machines (capacities ranging from 30T to 400T).
- Material Management: Handle production operations and inventory tracking to ensure zero production downtime.
- Shop Floor Supervision: Monitor and optimize resources, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower and maximum uptime of press machines.
- Target Achievement: Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are met safely and with the highest quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement:



Actively lead and collaborate with the shop floor team on Gemba walks, Kaizen initiatives, and waste elimination to boost production efficiency.
- Reporting: Maintain daily production logs, efficiency metrics, and report variances to plant management.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in an automotive components Press Shop / Sheet Metal setting.
- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering (preferred, but relevant experience is highly valued).
- Technical & Core SkillsStrong expertise in Press Shop Handling (mechanical/hydraulic presses, 30T to 400T).
- Proven track record in Production Planning & Control (PPC) and Raw Material planning.
- Familiarity with production efficiency metrics (OEE, rejection control).
- Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen, Gemba, 5S).
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Languages Known: Proficiency in Hindi and Marathi is suitable for shop floor communication; working knowledge of English for documentation and reporting.
