Job Description – Architect

Position: Architect

Department: Projects / Design & Development

About Savvy Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.

Savvy Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in building and real estate development projects. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Architect with 2–3 years of experience to join our project team.

The candidate will work closely with the Sr. Architect and project team and will be responsible for architectural drawings, design coordination, consultant coordination, site coordination and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Planning & Design

- Assist in preparation of architectural layouts and planning proposals.

- Prepare and modify plans, elevations, sections and architectural details.

- Assist with area calculations, planning and feasibility studies.

- Understand basic FSI, carpet area and built-up area calculations.

- Assist in optimizing layouts as per project requirements and applicable regulations.

2. Working & GFC Drawings

- Prepare accurate working drawings and GFC drawings.

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction details.

- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP and other consultant drawings.

- Maintain proper drawing revisions and ensure updated drawings are issued to site.

3. Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Fire, Landscape and other consultants.

- Follow up for pending drawings and technical clarifications.

- Identify discrepancies between various consultant drawings.

- Maintain drawing registers and coordination records.

Site Coordination

- Conduct regular site visits as required.

- Check site execution against approved drawings.

- Identify architectural and execution-related issues.

- Coordinate with the Sr. Architect and consultants for solutions.

- Provide necessary technical clarification to the site team.

- Monitor adherence to architectural design intent.

5. Statutory Approvals

- Assist the Sr. Architect and liaison consultants with approval-related drawings and documentation.

- Assist in documentation for municipal and statutory approvals.

- Develop working knowledge of applicable building regulations, DCPR/UDCPR and approval procedures.

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain updated architectural drawings and revision records.

- Maintain drawing submission and approval records.

- Prepare project-related presentations and reports.

- Record and follow up on design-related action points.

- Ensure proper document and version control.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD – Mandatory.

- Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction detailing.

- Knowledge of Revit / SketchUp will be an advantage.

- Working knowledge of MS Office.

- Basic knowledge of building construction and site execution.

- Understanding of FSI, development regulations and building norms.

- Knowledge of DCPR/UDCPR will be preferred.





Candidate Profile

- B.Arch – Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institute.

- COA registration preferred.

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in architecture, construction, residential or redevelopment projects.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Good follow-up and problem-solving ability.

- Willingness to visit project sites.

- Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple assignments.

Preferred Experience

Candidates having experience in the following will be preferred:

- Residential projects

- Redevelopment projects

- High-rise buildings

- Real estate developer projects

- Working/GFC drawings

- Consultant coordination

- Site coordination

- Municipal/MCGM submissions

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Architect will be expected to:

1. Deliver accurate drawings within agreed timelines.

2. Minimize drawing errors and site-related design issues.

3. Ensure effective coordination between consultants and project teams.

4. Maintain updated drawing and document records.

5. Follow up proactively on pending drawings and approvals.

6. Support timely project execution.

7. Escalate technical and design issues to the Sr. Architect promptly.

8. Take ownership of assigned architectural responsibilities.
