We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records of the company. The candidate must have a deep and practical understanding of Zoho Books / Zoho Accounts and should be capable of independently handling routine accounting operations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & BookkeepingHandle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Record and reconcile cash and bank transactions.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for accounting entries.
- Zoho Books / Zoho AccountsIndependently manage day-to-day accounting activities on Zoho Books / Zoho Accounts.
- Create and maintain customers, vendors, items, and relevant accounting masters.
- Generate sales invoices, purchase bills, credit notes, debit notes, payment receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Manage GST-related information and tax configurations within Zoho.
- Reconcile bank accounts and accounting ledgers.
- Generate and analyse accounting reports from Zoho.
- Identify and rectify accounting discrepancies within the system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting data in Zoho.
Deep practical knowledge of Zoho Books / Zoho Accounts is a mandatory prerequisite for this position.
- GST & Statutory ComplianceAssist in maintaining GST-related records and documentation.
- Ensure invoices and purchase records contain the required GST details.
- Assist the senior management/accountant/CA with GST returns, reconciliations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper records for audits and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with external accountants/CA as required.
- Bank & Ledger ReconciliationPerform regular bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
- Identify outstanding payments and receipts.
- Follow up internally for pending documentation or payment-related information.
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
- Accounts Receivable & PayableMaintain customer outstanding reports and vendor payable records.
- Track pending customer payments.
- Coordinate with the Sales team regarding outstanding receivables.
- Maintain accurate vendor bills and payment records.
- Assist management in monitoring cash flow and outstanding liabilities.
- Expense ManagementRecord and monitor company expenses.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents before accounting entries.
- Maintain proper records of petty cash and cash expenses.
- Monitor expense categorization and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
- Reporting & MISPrepare regular accounting and financial reports.
- Generate sales, purchase, outstanding, expense, and ledger reports.
- Provide accurate financial information to management whenever required.
- Assist in preparing monthly MIS and management reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records.
Mandatory Eligibility CriteriaCandidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Deep and practical working knowledge of Zoho Books / Zoho Accounts – Mandatory.
- Must be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities on Zoho.
- Basic to good understanding of GST and Indian accounting practices.
- Basic understanding of English – reading, writing, and speaking.
- Must be from Chattarpur or the nearby areas of South Delhi and be able to conveniently commute to the office.
- Required SkillsStrong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Excellent working knowledge of Zoho Books / Zoho Accounts.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to identify accounting discrepancies.
- Good reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates with experience in FMCG, food & beverage, retail, manufacturing, gifting, e-commerce, or similar businesses will be preferred.
Experience handling accounting for businesses involving inventory, multiple sales channels, retail stores, corporate sales, GST invoicing, and vendor management will be an added advantage.
Salary₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
Working Days & Timings6 Days a Week
9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Additional working hours may occasionally be required during festive seasons, month-end closing, audits, or periods of high business activity.
