About the Opportunity

The WorkFolk is hiring on behalf of an established CA firm based in Bistupur, Jamshedpur.

We are looking for an experienced Audit Assistant with strong hands-on exposure to accounts, taxation and audit work, preferably gained within a CA firm.

The role is suited for professionals who are highly proficient in Tally and meet either of these conditions: CA Intermediate cleared with at least 3 years of experience in a CA firm, or, if CA Intermediate is not cleared, at least 5 years of experience in a CA firm.

This is a full-time, work-from-office opportunity offering professionals the chance to take responsibility for accounting, taxation, audit support and related financial activities while working closely with the organisation‘s team.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and manage accounting records and ledgers in Tally.
- Assist with preparation and finalisation of accounts.
- Handle day-to-day accounts and taxation activities.
- Assist with audit assignments, documentation and verification of financial records.
- Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules as required.
- Assist with GST,



TDS and other taxation/compliance-related work.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for required documents and information.

What We‘re Looking For

- CA Intermediate cleared, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a CA firm.
- Or, if CA Intermediate is not cleared, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a CA firm.
- Candidates should not currently be pursuing further studies.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts and Taxation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Tally.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
