Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finishes Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead and manage finishing activities across residential and commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, contractor management, material coordination and timely completion of all finishing works as per approved drawings and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all finishing works at project sites from execution through completion.

Plan and monitor activities including block work, plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, carpentry and other finishing works.

Review and interpret architectural, interior and construction drawings.

Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate with Architects, Designers, Project Managers, Site Engineers, MEP teams, contractors and vendors.

Plan manpower, materials and resources required for finishing activities.

Monitor daily site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within the planned schedule.

Supervise and manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality and productivity.

Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects.

Check levels, alignment, dimensions, finishes and workmanship at every stage.

Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other services with finishing works.

Review material samples and ensure materials used at site are as per approved specifications.

Monitor material consumption,



wastage and availability at site.

Identify site issues, technical challenges and potential delays and provide appropriate solutions.

Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports and site documentation.

Coordinate with the QS/Billing team for measurements, quantities and work completion certification.

Support snagging, punch-list closure and final handover of projects.

Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and company standards.

Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors and site teams.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and supervisors.

Required Skills

Solid expertise in civil and interior finishing works.

Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials and finishing standards.

Strong understanding of architectural and interior drawings.

Excellent contractor and manpower management skills.

Strong project planning, execution and coordination abilities.

Good knowledge of quality control and snag management.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple activities and deliver projects within deadlines.

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

10+ years of relevant experience in construction, interiors or real estate.

Experience in high-end residential, commercial or large-scale interior fit-out projects will be preferred.
