Role & responsibilities

- Monitor and ensure the implementation of quality standards across all stages of food production, including sourcing, processing, and packaging.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with both internal and external standards, such as ISO, HACCP, FSSAI, FDA,FSSC , BRC and other relevant food safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure quality compliance.
- Implement, and maintain QMS in line with BRCGS & customer standards.
- The readiness of specs for efficient production of all recent products, aligning with food safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits & GMP inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and quality protocols.
- Supervise laboratory testing of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods- Chemical.
- Develop and validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QC tests.
- Oversee the implementation & adherence to process controls & product standards,



Manage online non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on food safety, quality standards, and hygiene practices as per defined training calendar & overview the implementation.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness among employees
- Perform the quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Perform and/or supervise regular sensory analysis and chemical tests on products to monitor their safety, quality, and shelf life.
- Track product defects or deviations and take corrective actions to address these issues.
- Maintain detailed records of quality checks, audits, and certifications.
- Document deviations and corrective actions as per company standards.
