The CII Model Career Centre (MCC) is an initiative focused on bridging the gap between job seekers and employers by enabling sustainable livelihoods through skilling, career counselling, and employment opportunities. We work closely with industries, educational institutions, government bodies, and CSR partners to create meaningful employment opportunities across Tamil Nadu. Role Overview:

As a Mobilizer, you will play a critical role in identifying, counselling, and mobilizing candidates for various Government, CSR, and Industry-sponsored skilling programs, while also mobilizing job seekers for placement opportunities across multiple sectors. This is a highly field-oriented role that requires strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

- Candidate Mobilization
- Mobilize youth for various skilling and employment programs across Tamil Nadu.
- Identify and counsel eligible candidates regarding training and career opportunities.
- Conduct awareness sessions, career guidance programs, and mobilization campaigns.
- Achieve monthly mobilization targets with quality candidate conversions.
- Institutional Networking:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with:

Schools

ITIs

Polytechnic Colleges

Arts & Science Colleges

NGOs

Community Organizations

SHGs

Local Influencers

Government Departments

Generate continuous candidate pipelines through institutional tie-ups.





Placement Mobilization:

- Mobilize candidates for current job openings across industries.
- Coordinate walk-ins, interviews, job fairs, and recruitment drives.
- Support candidates throughout the hiring process.

Field Operations:

- Conduct regular field visits across Chennai and other districts whenever required.
- Plan and execute mobilization activities independently.
- Organize campus drives and community outreach programs.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain daily activity reports.
- Update mobilization trackers and candidate databases.
- Submit field visit reports and mobilization MIS on time.
- Coordinate effectively with Recruitment, Training, and Placement teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 2–3 years of experience in:
- Field Recruitment
- Bulk Hiring
- Volume Hiring
- Candidate Mobilization
- Campus Recruitment
- NGO/CSR Mobilization
- Staffing Industry with Bachelor’s degree

OR

- Fresher- Fresh graduates with a strong passion for field work are encouraged to apply.

Required educational backgrounds for Fresher:

- Social Work (MSW / BSW)
- Sociology
- Psychology

Skills Required:

- Excellent communication skills in Tamil.
- Basic English communication.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Ability to build institutional relationships.
- Target-oriented mindset.
- Passion for field work.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Willingness to travel extensively across Chennai and Tamil Nadu.
- Comfortable working in field-based roles.
- Ability to meet mobilization targets.
