Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Press Shop Engineer with 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal.

The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and improving press shop operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements. Experience in mechanical presses, hydraulic presses, sheet metal component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day press shop operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Operate and supervise mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic press machines.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, tools, dies, manpower, and materials.
- Monitor production efficiency, OEE, and cycle time improvements.
- Coordinate with tool room and maintenance teams for die setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and customer delivery commitments.




- Monitor press tooling performance and recommend improvements.
- Maintain production records, process parameters, and daily reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and TPM.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Train operators and shop floor personnel on best manufacturing practices.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Press Shop operations.
- Mandatory experience in Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Experience in automotive sheet metal components manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work in shifts and under production-driven environments.
