Position Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement for an API, Pharmaceutical or Chemical Manufacturing Company. The candidate should have practical experience in purchasing Chemical Raw Materials, Solvents, Packing Materials (PM) and other manufacturing-related materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle procurement of Chemical Raw Materials (RM), Solvents and Packing Materials (PM).
- Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, QA/QC, R&D; and Accounts for material requirements and approvals.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, quality documents and pending orders.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor quotations, comparative statements and related documentation.




- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company specifications and approved vendor requirements.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
- Handle vendor communication, payment coordination and purchase-related documentation.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate / Postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement in API, Pharmaceutical or Chemical Manufacturing Industry.
- Hands-on experience in purchasing Chemicals, Solvents, RM & PM is required.
- Valuable negotiation, communication and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of basic purchase processes, documentation and ERP/software systems.
- Immediate Joiner will be preferred.
