We are seeking an experienced General Manager of Manufacturing to oversee complete plant operations, regulatory compliance, production schedules, and supply chain logistics for our pharmaceutical facility. You will lead cross-functional teams across Production, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Supply Chain, Engineering, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and strict adherence to global regulatory standards (cGMP, US FDA, EU GMP, WHO).

Key Responsibilities

- Plant Operations & Production: Direct day-to-day manufacturing activities for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), solid dosages, or sterile injectables. Optimize yield, equipment effectiveness (OEE), and throughput while controlling operational costs.
- Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with cGMP, local regulatory authorities, and international health bodies. Lead audit preparations and represent the plant during regulatory inspections (FDA, EMA, ISO).




- Financial & P&L; Management: Manage plant P&L;, annual operational budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), cost-containment initiatives, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
- Engineering & EHS: Oversee plant maintenance, facility validation, equipment automation, and safety programs. Ensure zero-harm workplace standards and environmental sustainability practices.
- Strategic Supply Chain & Inventory: Partner with procurement and logistics teams to maintain robust raw material pipelines, minimize inventory holding costs, and guarantee on-time product deliveries.
- Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, train, and mentor department heads. Drive continuous improvement cultures (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) and promote high accountability across shifts.Role & responsibilities
