Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior BI / Data Analyst with 9 to 11 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL, along with a basic understanding of working with data from SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP ERP environments.

The role will involve understanding business requirements, assessing technical feasibility, working with data teams, and translating business needs into effective BI and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements from stakeholders.
- Perform feasibility analysis and assess technical approaches for business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Work with data sourced from SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP ERP systems.
- Understand SAP data structures and collaborate with SAP/data teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical and functional specifications.
- Validate data, identify discrepancies, and ensure the quality and reliability of reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, SAP teams, and other technical teams.
- Support troubleshooting, enhancement, and continuous improvement of BI solutions.




- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Power BI (PBI), including dashboard and report development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying.
- Basic understanding of working with SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP ERP data.
- Strong requirement gathering and stakeholder management skills.
- Valuable understanding of feasibility analysis and solution assessment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team Lead experience is needed, with proven experience in leading and managing a team.
- Experience working in cross-functional and enterprise-level environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on SAP-integrated BI/reporting projects.
- Good understanding of supply chain domain
- Understanding of data modelling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing.
- Experience handling large and complex datasets.
- Strong experience in stakeholder communication and managing requirements independently.
