Role & responsibilities

- Ensure continuous sensor data availability for performance monitoring and analysis
- Monitor data flows, detect gaps or anomalies, and resolve issues quickly
- Validate data quality to support KPIs such as fuel consumption, trim, and power usage
- Troubleshoot sensor, connectivity, and data pipeline issues with crews, IT, and equipment makers
- Support sensor maintenance, calibration, and standardization across the fleet
- Provide transparency on data availability and support performance analysis needs
- Serve as the central coordination point between technical fleet management, the crews and the vendor support, ensuring aligned, timely, and effective issue resolution
- Support projects to establish and enhance sensor data integration on vessels, including participation in onboard visits where required Impact o Enables reliable performance monitoring and benchmarking
- Ensures trusted data for voyage optimization and fuel savings
- Strengthens data-driven collaboration between shore teams and vessels

Preferred candidate profile





4+ years of experience in fleet operations, sensor systems, IoT, or data support environments o Maritime background (sea-going or shore-based) is a strong advantage o Knowledge of interface and communication protocols such as NMEA, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, or similar o Familiarity with noon reporting and vessel performance data is an advantage o High attention to data quality, consistency, and accuracy o Advanced knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Qlik Sense, SQL, Power BI, or similar) and related API integrations o Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills o Structured and process-oriented mindset o Strong communication skills, with confidence to engage with both technical teams and vessel crews o Experience supporting cross-functional issue resolution o Strong sense of ownership and reliability o Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environme
