Role & responsibilities

- Perform professional image retouching according to client, editorial and brand requirements.
- Carry out skin, hair, product, fabric and background cleanup while maintaining a natural and consistent appearance.
- Perform basic to intermediate masking, clipping paths, selections and image cleanup.
- Apply color correction, tonal adjustments, sharpening and other image-preparation requirements.
- Follow briefs, annotations, visual references and production instructions accurately.
- Prepare images according to required color, resolution, file-format and delivery specifications.
- Maintain clean, organized and non-destructive Photoshop files and production layers.
- Complete assigned work within agreed turnaround times and production priorities.
- Review work carefully before submission and correct issues identified during QA or revisions.
- Work closely with DIS and Senior Retouchers when requirements or technical issues need clarification. Follow established SOPs, title-specific standards and quality guidelines.
- Support high-volume and seasonal production requirements while maintaining consistent quality.

Technical Skills :-

- Valuable working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of image cleanup and professional retouching techniques.
- Basic to intermediate masking, clipping paths and selection techniques. Understanding of layers, masks and non-destructive editing.
- Basic color correction and tonal adjustment skills. Understanding of image resolution, RGB/CMYK and common output requirements.
- Ability to work from references,



annotations and detailed production instructions.
- Awareness of current retouching tools and AI-assisted imaging workflows.

Communication, Team & Organizational Skills :-

- Good communication and ability to understand creative and technical requirements.
- Works well with DIS, Senior Retouchers, workflow, QA and production teams. Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Organized and detail-oriented, especially with high-volume work and revisions.
- Reliable, proactive and willing to learn, collaborate and support the wider team.

- Consistently meet established editorial, technical and brand quality standards.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across multiple images and revision rounds.
- Meet agreed production timelines and communicate issues that may affect delivery.
- Follow file-naming, folder, layer and delivery standards.
- Demonstrate attention to detail on press-critical and high-priority assignments.
