Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Formulations R&D; Process Scale-Up Specialist with 35 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate with hands-on expertise in scaling up laboratory processes to industrial production, technical problem-solving capabilities, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Requirements

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in agrochemical formulations manufacturing environments
- A graduate degree in related field
- Strong exposure to contract or job work manufacturing setups of herbicide/insecticide/fungicides
- Good understanding of agro formulation production process of EC, SC, WP, and WG
- Familiarity with plant operations and technology transfer processes along with maintaining records of plant operations
- Ability to prepare and manage plant operation reports, BMR documentation, and site assessment reports

Skills and Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Process Scale-Up
1. Oversee the complete R&D; process from laboratory scale to commercial production.
2. Collaborate with the R&D; team on process optimization, modifications, and pilot-scale trials.

- Plant-Scale Integration

1. Lead the scale-up process, from commercial pilot to plant-scale implementation,



ensuring technical feasibility and process reliability.
2. Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize plant processes and troubleshoot potential challenges

- Job Work Site Management

1. Act as the primary liaison with contract manufacturing partners, managing day-to-day operations and resolving on-ground challenges
2. Oversee raw material receipt, in-process quality checks, and finished goods dispatch
3. Serve as Atomgrids on-ground representative, ensuring process integrity and confidentiality
4. Track market activity, including manufacturing trends, capacity utilisation, and new developments across key regions

- Plant Operations & Manufacturing Oversight

1. Oversee day-to-day plant operations and supervise all plant and project activities across sites on a daily basis
2. Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with the Standard Operating Procedures provided by Atomgrid.
3. Track and report plant operations data on a daily basis
4. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deviations and share reports with management
5. Willingness to travel across India for commissioning and manufacturing activitie

Qualifications and Skills

- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a agrochemicals related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in R&D; process scale-up and plant integration.
- Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Energetic, goal-oriented, and capable of working in fast-paced environments.

- Other Skills: Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive and "go-getter" attitude.
