Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Business Development:

Identify and onboard current testing contractors and service providers across assigned territory.

Generate enquiries and convert leads into orders for testing equipment (e.g. HV testers, relay test kits, insulation testers, etc.).

Map potential projects where testing activities are ongoing or upcoming.

2. Account Management:

Maintain relationships with existing contractors and ensure repeat business.

Monitor customer satisfaction and provide after-sales technical support.

Coordinate with service and technical teams for calibration or service requirements.

3. Market Research:

Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing in the testing contractor segment.

Identify potential opportunities in infrastructure, utilities, EPC, and maintenance companies.

4. Sales Planning & Execution:

Prepare territory-wise sales plan to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

Conduct product demos, presentations, and technical discussions with contractor teams.

Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and product awareness sessions.

5. Coordination & Reporting:

Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, service)



for smooth order execution.

Submit weekly visit reports, enquiry pipelines, and forecast updates to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Monthly/quarterly sales target achievement.

Number of new contractor accounts developed.

Enquiries generated vs converted.

Market coverage and visit frequency.

Customer satisfaction and repeat order ratio.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience: 2–6 years of sales experience in testing & measuring instruments or electrical products.

Skills:

Strong technical understanding of electrical testing instruments.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Relationship-building ability with contractors and field engineers.

Self-driven and target-oriented.

Preferred Industry Background:

Electrical testing & measurement equipment manufacturers or distributors.

Companies serving EPC contractors, power utilities, or maintenance agencies.

Instrumentation or relay testing equipment suppliers.
