As a Hardware audio lab testing role involves evaluating acoustic and electronic performance, managing specialized lab equipment, and validating audio hardware like speakers, microphones, and headsets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Computer Science, or related technical field.

Technical Tools: Hands-on experience with lab gear (oscilloscopes, signal generators, acoustic analyzers) and programming languages like Python or MATLAB.

Key Responsibilities:

Acoustic Testing: Run frequency response, distortion, impedance, and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) measurements using Head and Torso Simulator (HATS) systems.

Lab Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and maintain recording equipment, microphones, and anechoic or reverberant test chambers.

Execution & Automation: Write or run automated/manual scripts (using Python or MATLAB)



to collect and process acoustic datasets.

Debugging & Analysis: Troubleshoot hardware and setup issues, perform root-cause analysis, and report defects through quality management tools.

Collaboration: Work alongside hardware, software, and UX design teams to improve prototype sound quality and audio performance.
