Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Inventory Audit with solid hands-on experience in retail inventory/store audits. The candidate will be responsible for conducting physical stock verification, night audits, inventory reconciliation, and identifying stock discrepancies across stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory and stock audits across retail stores.
- Perform night audits and physical stock verification.
- Reconcile physical stock with system stock and identify shortages/excess.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and variances.
- Conduct cycle counts and surprise stock audits as required.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, MIS and variance reports for management.
- Coordinate with store teams and internal/external audit teams.
- Monitor compliance with inventory control and stock-handling processes.
- Travel extensively across India for store audits.
Mandatory Requirements
- Retail inventory audit experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in physical stock verification and stock reconciliation.
- Experience in night audits/night stock audits is required.
- Strong understanding of inventory discrepancies, shortage/excess analysis and audit processes.
- Good analytical, reporting and MS Excel skills.
- Candidate must be comfortable travelling 15–20 days per month across India.
- Candidates from retail, apparel, fashion, lifestyle, supermarket, footwear or similar retail businesses will be preferred.
