Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior AI Data Product Owner to own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI data products across AWS and Databricks. The role will focus on transforming existing dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc datasets into governed, reusable, production-grade data products supporting AI training, evaluation, inference, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the AI data product roadmap, backlog, priorities, and lifecycle.
- Transform existing dashboards/analytics assets into governed AI-ready data products.
- Define data product charters, data contracts, ownership, SLAs, access models, and retention standards.
- Drive data governance using Databricks Unity Catalog and AWS controls.
- Lead data ingestion, curation, and productization across AWS and Databricks.
- Build/version datasets for AI training, evaluation, inference, features, and monitoring.
- Define and enforce data quality standards and AI readiness gates.
- Drive data observability, lineage,



documentation, and production support.
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cloud/data costs.
- Work closely with Business, Product, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Security, and Platform teams.

Must-Have Skills:

- 8+ years in Data Engineering, Data Management, AI Data Foundations, or Data Product ownership.
- Strong experience with AWS + Databricks.
- Hands-on knowledge of Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
- Experience with data governance, lineage, observability, and data quality.
- Strong understanding of data contracts, quality gates, access models, and SLAs.
- Experience managing production-grade data pipelines/data products.
- Robust stakeholder management and product ownership experience.
- Ability to drive decisions, manage ambiguity, and balance quality, security, cost, and delivery.

Preferred Certifications:

- Databricks Data Engineer / ML Professional
- AWS Data Analytics / Solutions Architect
- Data Governance / Data Management / Agile certifications are an advantage.
