About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer - I (Frontend) at MakeMyTrip, you will play a key role in building high-quality, scalable, and intuitive digital experiences used by millions of travellers. You will work across the frontend development lifecycle from translating product and business requirements into robust technical solutions to building, optimizing, and deploying user-facing applications.

This role is ideal for an engineer who combines strong frontend fundamentals with a product mindset, enjoys solving complex problems at scale, and takes ownership of delivering seamless customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with product, design, business, and engineering teams while contributing to technical decisions, engineering best practices, and the continued evolution of MMTs frontend ecosystem.

What will you be doing:

- Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js and Redux, ensuring optimal speed and scalability.




- Collaborate with business teams to define requirements and deliver on-time product solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while performing code reviews and troubleshooting issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, optimizing UI/UX designs for feasibility and performance.
- Own and manage technical aspects of web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless deployment and functionality.

Qualifications & Experience:

- BE/BTech in Computer Science from a premier institute.
- 2-4 years of experience with high scale tech-product companies.
- Expertise in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and modern frameworks (React.js, Redux).
- Proficiency in Webpack, Jest, and CI/CD pipelines; TypeScript experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, RESTful APIs, browser rendering, and performance.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and excellent problem-solving skills.
