Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage endtoend plant operations at Maraimalai Nagar.
- Oversee SPM operations, ensuring machine uptime, productivity, and process reliability.
- Manage CNC machining processes including programming, tooling, cycle time optimization, and quality adherence.
- Drive assembly operations for auto components with focus on takt time, throughput, and defectfree output.
- Supervise chemical surface treatment processes (cleaning, coating, plating, passivation, etc.).
- Ensure effective functioning of ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and compliance with environmental norms.
- Oversee copper brazing operations, furnace management, quality control, and metallurgical standards.
- Implement and maintain ISO, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 systems across the plant.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives: Kaizen, Lean, 5S, PokaYoke, TPM.




- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams: Quality, Maintenance, Production Planning, Supply Chain, HR.
- Ensure adherence to production targets, cost control, manpower planning, and safety standards.
- Drive vendor development, tooling improvements, and process automation.
- Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly MIS on production, quality, downtime, and operational KPIs.
- Lead and mentor a large operations team, ensuring skill development and performance excellence.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in auto components manufacturing (20+ years).
- Handson expertise in SPM, CNC machining, assembly operations.
- Knowledge of chemical surface treatment, ETP, and copper brazing processes.
- Deep understanding of ISO, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 standards and audits.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decisionmaking capability.
- Excellent problemsolving, analytical thinking, and operational planning skills.
- Ability to drive productivity, quality, and cost optimization.

- BE/B.Tech with 20+ years in auto components manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing largescale plant operations.
- Strong exposure to machining, assembly, and special processes.
